Stefano Bolcato, Happy Donor - René Magritte, fine art graphics , 30x37 cm
This work represents a combination of elements typical of René Magritte's surreal art. In the foreground, against a black background, a silhouette in the shape of a Lego man in a bowler hat shows a light-coloured night landscape taken from the work "L'empire des lumières", the lights of the house are on, the crescent moon dominates the sky, creating a sense of mystery and illusion. There are two grey bricks on the wall, replacing the typical recurring grey sphere.
The work is a tribute to the great master of art, whose work has all the distinctive elements. This original narrative reinvents and reinterprets numerous masterpieces from history.
The work is numbered 18/150 in the lower left-hand corner and signed in the lower right-hand corner where it also bears its original stamp.
