Leonardo da Vinci’s Anatomical Atlas collects the complete corpus of the artist’s anatomical drawings preserved at the Royal Collection in Windsor. 300 images are accompanied by the artistic commentary of one of the major international leonardists, Professor Martin Kemp of Oxford University, which illustrates the uniqueness of the trait and refined figurative transposition, while one of the most renowned Italian Anatomists, Professor Mario Rende of the University of Perugia, analyzes the meaning of these works from a medical-scientific angle, revealing the insights, the research methodology and the experimental and analytical approach of the Genius of Vinci.

Moving between art and anatomy, between unsurpassed illustrative exposition and avant-garde Renaissance scientific research, the work thus allows to observe in depth and exhaustively an essential aspect of the history of the Great Master.
