This small, unique work is made with oil paints on a wooden board, the work is signed at the bottom left J.M. and represents a horse race, in a post-impressionist style typical of the an plein air Horse races were one of the most beloved subjects of these artists.
The brushstrokes are very material, at the bottom near the signature there is also the date of realization: 1960.
