The palette, for many of the linocuts, is limited to a rang of black – white tones. Basically Picasso produces the form and the depth of the immagine through printed progressed from light to dark ( generally the white paper was printed with a cream tone over all the surface) and than the black draw line build the real imagine. These lines characterize all the linocuts productions. This process give, both, a big three - dimensional effect and a full detailes image. The smoothness and the pliability of the linoleum makes all these possible. In this work we can see bedroom's interior, in front page, a decorated bedspread and, back, a woman looking out the window. This image is really dynamic, the effect is emphasize from the hair's woman and curtain's movement. The tones progressed from light brown to dark brown.
