The theme that emerges from this work is the importance of the "Ego", as the artist spontaneously puts on canvas what he likes and represents his inner reality. Tosh decided to represent a Great Dane dog, because the artist himself says it is one of his own and his girlfiend favorite breeds. Indeed in the title "her" refers to his girl. To make the work very personal is also the writing "Pineapple" in the background that is apparently "no sense", but completes the meaning of the painting. Pineapple indeed is one of Tosh's favorite foods. On a neutral background, the yellow  color of the writing is highlighted. Instinctive and pop, Tosh creates a spontaneous and understandable works of art, with whom the audience can easily empathize with.
